I’ll email you a questionnaire, so you can reply with your manuscript if you haven’t already sent it (confidentiality guaranteed) and tell me about your goals, what types of editing you think you want, and some other basic info. It may take you 15 minutes (tops) to fill out.
 

No worries, either… This isn’t some school test, so just make your best guesses. 

After I comb through your manuscript in detail to feel out what it needs, I’ll send you a sample edit of your manuscript and let you know if I’m potentially a good fit. If not, I may refer you to someone who is.
 

Assuming I am, we’ll chat on the phone… 

We’ll talk (for usually about 30 minutes) to reconcile which types of editing are best. If you decide to work together, I’ll handle logistics to reserve your editing calendar slot… 

After your payment is processed (see Pricing and Payment for details), I’ll email you with available editing dates, so we can set an Edit Start Date and an Edit Delivery Date. This way, I can promise your manuscript the quality focus time it deserves. If you have additional questions, you can reach me at HolisticEditing@gmail.com.

Doing one editing “pass” for you means that I’ll read your manuscript once from beginning to end, marking the edits needed as I read. I guarantee turnaround time per pass, based on how long your manuscript is. It’s generally 3 editing (business) days for each 5,000 words.
